So these two bridge engineers are at the Type Study meeting.  They’re trying to determine if the bridge route should go over land or water.  Bridge Engineer A is making an impassioned argument that it should be a bridge over water.  But Bridge Engineer B believes that a land viaduct is much preferred, since it will be easier to build and less expensive.

Just then, the Manager of HR walks into the meeting.  She is originally from Eastern Europe and speaks with a bit of an accent.  She had stopped by to discuss opportunities for supplemental life insurance provided by the company, Aflac.  But she is confused about the effectiveness of Aflac’s advertising.

She asks, “Why a duck?”

Bridge Engineer A says, “Yes, that’s my point exactly.”
