ENR West People: March 2026

Fortis Construction has appointed Andrea Weisheimer as president. She will oversee geographic markets, advance client partnerships and support regional teams. Weisheimer, formerly with Lease Crutcher Lewis, Webcor and DPR, brings executive experience across Oregon, California and Texas.
San Mateo, Calif.-based Truebeck Construction promoted Nick Pera to president. A 15-year veteran of the firm, Pera is tasked with continuing company growth and strengthening client partnerships. Stephen Green returns to Truebeck as chief operating officer, bringing prior company experience and recent leadership at Suffolk Construction.
LRS Architects named Janice Sanada president. Sanada, who joined the Portland, Ore.-based firm in 2003 and most recently served as managing principal, succeeds Trish Nixon, who will continue leading the multifamily housing studio and focus on talent development. Sanada will oversee strategic execution, operational alignment and design excellence while ensuring continuity for clients and teams.
JE Dunn Construction named Kyle Boehnlein leader of its Northern California office in Santa Clara. A former ENR West Top Young Pro, Boehnlein led complex semiconductor, mission critical, health care and justice projects. He previously helped expand JE Dunn’s Pacific Northwest presence and managed semiconductor work in Silicon Valley.
Michael Reininger, formerly CEO of Brightline Holdings, was named managing director and board member of Brightline West, aligning leadership to support expansion as well as the $21-billion high-speed rail project between Las Vegas and Southern California. Bruce Snyder was promoted to Brightline West CFO.
Jason Mayyak was promoted to vice president and general manager of the Mountain region for Burns & McDonnell, leading more than 500 employee-owners across the Mountain region and Pacific Northwest. He oversees the delivery of engineering, procurement, construction and environmental and consulting services across energy, water, power, industrial and manufacturing markets.
Jim Misener joined WSP in the U.S. as senior vice president of digital infrastructure and mobility innovation. A pioneer in vehicle-highway automation, he will lead client delivery and industry engagement in intelligent transportation and digital infrastructure. Based in San Diego, Misener brings experience in V2X standards, automotive technology and infrastructure deployment. He previously served in leadership roles at a global technology company and UC Berkeley’s PATH program.

Andrew Fernandez was promoted to district manager of PCL Construction’s Seattle district. He most recently served as operations manager in Hawaii. Fernandez will oversee projects in the Northwest.
Cordoba Corp. promoted Michael Boomsma to executive vice president. A former ENR West Top Young Pro, Boomsma helped advance infrastructure and program management initiatives for the Los Angeles-based firm. He brings extensive expertise in planning, design and construction of publicly funded facilities to the role.
Gilbane Building appointed Brett Mitchell senior director of business development for its West division. With more than 30 years of experience in capital program delivery, Mitchell will lead strategic growth initiatives and strengthen client relationships. He also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of California, Davis.
