KORE Power Inc. plans to build a KOREPlex lithium battery manufacturing facility in Buckeye. The 2 million-sq-ft facility will produce up to 12 GWh of battery cells per year. It is being designed by SSOE/Stevens & Wilkinson. W.G. Yates & Sons Construction has been chosen as the general contractor. GEORGIA

Hines Inc. and Simpson Housing LLLP are planning to build 700 Northpark, an office building in Sandy Springs. The 26-story, 450,000-sq-ft building will be located at the intersection of State Route 400 and Abernathy Rd. Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates Inc. is the architect. MARYLAND

Trammell Crow Co. plans to develop Lab Building A4 of the Labs at Belward, a life sciences center on Johns Hopkins University’s Belward campus in Rockville. The six-story, 275,000-sq-ft building has been designed by Gensler, and Clark Construction Group has been chosen as general contractor. The project is valued at $50 million. MINNESOTA

Beltrami County plans to construct a new county jail, a 240-bed facility, at a location yet to be determined. Construction Engineering Services Inc. has been selected as the architect. NEBRASKA

White Lotus Group plans to convert Grand Island’s Veterans Home Campus, now called Liberty Campus, into senior and low-income housing and rental properties. The site has been declared a historic district, and White Lotus is pursuing state and federal historic tax credits for the project, and applied to Nebraska Investment Finance Authority for further tax credits. The project will be done in four phases, with the first being remodeling of the Pershing and Anderson buildings on the west side of the campus into 48 units of older adult affordable housing, with veterans preference. NEW HAMPSHIRE

The New Hampshire Dept. of Transportation is planning to widen the Everett Turnpike in Merrimack from Exit 11 to south of Exit 13. Bidding is expected to take place in February 2024. TENNESSEE

Camden Living plans to build the Camden Gulch apartment building at 909 Division Street in Nashville. The 16-story, 270,000-sq-ft building will contain 481 apartments and will be located on a 1.99-acre site. It will include 7,300 sq ft of ground-level retail space, 537 parking spaces, and a rooftop pool deck. It is being designed by Hastings Architecture Associates. Project is valued at $250 million. GE Johnson Construction Co. has started carrying out the modernization project on the U.S. Air Force Academy’s Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs. Renovations on the stadium’s east side will include a new entrance, an updated event space, a heritage plaza, concession areas, restrooms, merchandise space and 1,200 enclosed club seats.
