INDIANA

Elanco Animal Health Inc. plans to build a new headquarters in Indianapolis on the site of the former General Motors Stamping Plant. Elanco will use 39 acres, with its headquarters at the northwest corner of Henry Street and a relocated White River Parkway, with room to build additional structures on the north and west portions of the property. Construction is expected to begin in March 2022 and be completed by July 2024. It is being designed by CSO Architects Inc. and RATIO Architects Inc., and Shiel Sexton Co. has been chosen as the general contractor. The project is valued at $100 million. NORTH DAKOTA

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is planning to carry out the Fargo Moorhead Metropolitan Area flood risk management project. The project entails constructing Southern Embankment Reach SE-2A, which will be 1.75 miles long. In addition, the project includes removing an abandoned water line, placement of riprap in ditches, and installation of new corrugated steel pipe culverts. Construction is expected to start in May 2022. The project is valued at between $10 million and $25 million. UTAH

The Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management is planning to build the Utah State History Museum. The project entails constructing a 17,000-sq-ft facility on the first floor of the New North Capitol Building. NEW YORK

3/14 The New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation is seeking bidders to carry out a Superfund cleanup at an old city landfill on Old Upper Mountain Road in Lockport. The landfill site was used as a city dump from about 1921 through the 1950s. The scope of the project also includes cleanup of contaminated sediment and floodplain soils found within Gulf Creek. The primary contaminants at the site are metals, which are present due to the burning of garbage and other waste, with the remnants having pushed into a nearby ravine. The cleanup project will also include the permanent relocation of the Gulf Interceptor Sewer. The project is valued at between $20 million and $30 million.
