KORE Power Inc. is planning to build the KOREPlex lithium battery manufacturing facility in Buckeye. INDIANA Northern Indiana Public Service Co. (NIPSCO) and NextEra Energy Resources LLC are planning to construct the Cavalry Solar power plant in White County. It will generate 200 MW of electricity and also have 60 MW of battery storage. Saint Therese is planning to build the Saint Therese of Corcoran Senior Living facility in Corcoran. The four-story building will contain 154 independent-living and assisted-living units, as well as a 64-bed skilled nursing facility. The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is planning to widen the Turnpike to six lanes between the Ft. Littleton Interchange at Milepost 180 in Dublin Township, Fulton County, and Milepost 186 in Dublin Township, Huntingdon County, just west of the Tuscarora Tunnel. The project will include the reconstruction of the existing roadway to accommodate six 12-ft-wide travel lanes with 12-ft left and right shoulders and a 2-ft median barrier, as well as the flattening of several existing substandard horizontal curves and replacement of five mainline bridges. The University of Virginia is planning to erect a building to house the Karsh Institute of Democracy at the intersection of Ivy Road and Cameron Lane on the campus in Charlottesville. The 65,000-sq-ft building will contain a technology-enabled auditorium; spaces for workshops, classes and events that can be televised/streamed for the university community and larger society; and reconfigurable workspace areas and public spaces for students, faculty, staff and the broader community. Methuen Construction Co. has started constructing Dry Dock Complex 2 at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery. The work entails fabricating and installing a 21,500-sq-ft enclosure consisting of two towers, storage areas, railcar access, high- and low-bay work areas, three bridge cranes, movable roofs, access control and associated HVAC, mechanical, electrical, alarm, controls and communication systems, as well as a 1,600-sq-ft modular enclosure. JE Dunn Construction has started carrying out an expansion of the Norman Regional Health System Healthplex.
