TWestern Star; 866-850-7827;www.westernstar.com he D51EX-22 Crawler Dozer boasts a super-slant nose and large windows on a cab forward design for better control and visibility. The dozer’s tracks have a large bushing diameter, long link pitch and a lubricated track, extending their overall life. The dozer has a 6.69L engine with a net hp of 130 hp at 2,200 rpm. The power-angle tilt blade has a capacity of 3.5 cu yd to 3.8 cu yd. A large bolt-on blade center ball increases the wear life. he SK485LC ACERA Mark 8 full-size excavator features an Intelligent Total Control System that is able to recognize operator actions and assist with repeated tasks, and a Heavy Lift on-command function for an instant power boost. The excavator has four working modes for different applications: heavy digging and productivity, standard digging and fuel saving, or for powering of one- or two-way flow attachments. he Heavy-Duty QSX has a displacement of 16 liters while meeting EPA Tier 4 emissions standards, which go into effect in January 2011. The  low emissions are due to the particulate filter exhaust aftertreament which the manufacturer claims reduces particulate matter by up to 90%, and the exhaust gas recirculation that reduces NOx levels by 45%, while the direct-flow air filtration keeps air focused on the filter media. The engine has a top rating of 650 hp, which can extend down to 400 hp if needed. he Walking Floor unloading system ejects a variety of materials from a truck without having to dump them. The hydraulically powered “V” slats along the bottom shift back and forth, working materials out the back while remaining level. The V-Floor comes in both aluminum and steel versions, and can unload material ranging from dirt and asphalt to large refuse. he 6900 XD 40-ton dump truck combines a standard 6900 XD truck with a heavy-duty J & J Truck Bodies dump body. The resulting extreme-duty off-road dump truck is able to carry a 40-ton load at 40 mph. It has 110,000 lb planetary drive axles, a Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine and a fully automatic Allison 4500 RDS transmission. The maker claims that it is up to 35% more fuel efficient than other dumpers. Larger bodies also are available.
