Each occurs just once a year and this year it just so happens that the deadlines for both fall within weeks of one another—June 16 and June 30. That is, the deadlines to enter the New York region’s specialty contractors survey and/or the best projects competition are fast approaching.
A quick look at the 73 firms that participated in ENR New York’s Top Contractor Survey this year reveals some interesting facts, including that several firms grew their year-over-year regional revenue by around $100 million.
For its revenue bump, its work on numerous big-ticket projects in the tri-state region, as well as efforts beyond the usual in safety, sustainability, community outreach and workplace diversity, PB is the winner this year of ENR New York’s Design Firm of the Year honors.
This year’s design survey drew slightly more architecture and engineering firms in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut than in the past few years.
