RIP Ed Koch

Ed Koch, the late mayor of NY, had the 59th Street Bridge renamed after him in 2011.  He was quoted as saying about the bridge:


"It's not soaring, beautiful, handsome, like the George Washington or the Verrazano. It's rugged, it's hard working — and that's me."
