And the Award for Best Looking Bridge Goes To....

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has initiated a bridge photo contest.  Bridge enthusiasts are invited to submit photographs of their favorite bridges.  The photos will be judged by a distinguished panel of talented, interesting and all-around excellent engineers and photographers (disclosure- I am on the panel, so it appears we are dealing here with issues of bias and humility).   The contest can be accessed and entered here.  Winning submittals receive fame, (modest) fortune, and a potential appearance in the 2014 ASCE bridge calendar.   The entry deadline is March 31.
