The Port of Houston Authority Port Commission approved a $512,502 construction contract to Houston-based Sullivan Land Services for maintenance dredging at Bayport Wharf No. 3. A hydrographic survey showed that silt accumulation has reduced the berthing depth at the wharf. The Bridge Homeless Assistance Center in downtown Dallas won Best Architectural Entry in the International Rebranding Homelessness Competition hosted by South Africa’s Tshwane Leadership Foundation. div id="articleExtrasA" div id="articleExtrasB" div id="articleExtras" The competition honors facilities and initiatives worldwide that seek to develop new approaches to addressing homelessness.
