Homeless Assistance Center Earns International Accolades
The Bridge Homeless Assistance Center in downtown Dallas won Best Architectural Entry in the International Rebranding Homelessness Competition hosted by South Africa’s Tshwane Leadership Foundation.
The competition honors facilities and initiatives worldwide that seek to develop new approaches to addressing homelessness.
The 75,000-sq-ft multipurpose facility was designed by San Antonio-based Overland Partners Architects and Dallas-based CamargoCopeland Architects. It was completed in May 2008 on a previously developed 3.41-acre site in Dallas’ central business district.
