Located at the center of a densely populated and active campus, the 30,000-sq-ft Burbank Auditorium was completely transformed from the inside out, providing significant upgrades to circulation, interior design, technology, building systems, seismic and theatrical production systems while also incorporating a 5,000-sq-ft addition.
This 55,000-sq-ft facility hosts 36 private inpatient rooms and inpatient and outpatient specialized support facilities designed after extensive benchmarking studies, tours of other facilities and academic peer reviews.
Dubbed the Training Center of the Future, this design-build project added to and renovated a campus that trains people how to safely and reliably deliver affordable, clean energy.
Delivered as a public-private partnership (P3), the project replaced a 60-year-old police building with a two-story, 44,352-sq-ft headquarters that provides space for patrol, administration and investigations.
