The BW100ADM-5 Tandem Vibratory Roller is able to deliver 3,822 lb of centrifugal force at a frequency of 3,780 vibrations per minute, with a working width of 39.4 in. It is powered by a 20.2-horsepower, water-cooled diesel engine, with an Ecomode that automatically idles the engine to conserve fuel during inactivity. For greater maneuverability, the roller's travel motors are contained within the drums. With a 26.4-gallon water tank, the roller has a pressurized spray system with triple-filter nozzles and windscreen protection for consistent spray in windy conditions. TireHand Tire Manipulators are now available in maximum capacities of 20,000 lb and 36,000 lb. The tire manipulators are available in loader and forklift-truck-mounted options. The attachments allow for the efficient, safe installation and rotation of the massive tires on construction and mining equipment. New features to improve grip on the tire include a redesigned grip pattern and tapering on the grip pad. The new, longer arm has a narrower profile to reach the back flange of the wheel and avoid interfering with the chassis. Iowa Mold Tooling Co.; 800-247-5958; www.imt.com

The Mustang 450Z Zero-Tail Excavator is powered by a Yanmar Interim Tier 4 engine with 39 net horsepower. It is designed with no cab overhang in any direction, allowing for greater maneuverability on smaller jobsites. The 450Z has a digging depth of 12 ft and a bucket force of 6,724 lb. The excavator features a hydraulic quick coupler that is compatible with a wide range of attachments. The excavator's hydraulic system has two variable pumps and two gear pumps, allowing pump oil flows to be combined and redirected as needed. Manitou Group; 262-334-6612; www.manitougroup.com

Thompson Pump introduced the 6JSCEN portable pump, powered by a 74-horsepower, Tier 4 Final diesel engine, at the WEFTEC trade show in September. Initially, the new diesel engine will be available on the 6-in. Compact line of pumps. The emissions-control technology in the diesel engine meets upcoming EPA Tier 4 Final regulations. The engine does not require a bulky diesel-particulate filter or after-treatment servicing to meet regulations. Thompson Pump; 800-767-7310; www.thompsonpump.com
