Product Snapshot: Tier 4 Engines and Heated Jackets

The M12 Heated Jacket is powered by a Milwaukee M12 Red Lithium battery. The redesigned jacket has a new fleece inner liner and durable heating elements in the chest and upper back. Heating elements in the pockets can be controlled independently of the rest of the jacket for added comfort. The battery is kept in a back pocket, which can also accommodate a Milwaukee M12 XC battery for extended use. The jacket is also compatible with the M18 Power Source, which boasts an 18-hour life and has a USB port to charge portable devices. CI-PanelTek is a rain-screen framing system designed to accommodate large-scale, face-fastened panels. The system's expanded anchoring surface allows for two panels to be joined on one track. CI-PanelTek has a continuous vertical 3/4-in. rain-screen cavity, with an additional 3/4-in. cavity created by the horizontal rail. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has announced a production schedule for the model D03CJ, D04CJ and D04EG diesel engines. The engines range from 25 hp to 99 hp and are compliant with EPA interim Tier 4 regulations. The D03CJ and D04CJ uses a diesel particulate filter. The D04EG employs an exhaust gas recirculation system. The engines also boast improved fuel economy over the Tier 3 engines they replace. Tier 4 final versions are expected to be available in 2013. The Model 6510 Construction Disc is designed to cut through compacted soils and heavy vegetation mats during site preparation. The 11,500-lb machine has 32-in. blades with a maximum cutting depth of 15 in. It is able to cut, level and mix soil across the full 10-ft, 9-in. working width.
