The 140-ton HTC-3140 heavy-lift truck crane features a Tier 4i, 215-hp Cummins engine in the upper and a 581-hp Cummins ISX15 engine with a diesel particulate filter and SCR in the lower. Both engines meet current EPA emissions requirements, and the new technology does not increase the truck crane's overall weight. Two new dust-collecting cutting guards are now available for Makita's 4 1/2-in. to 5-in. grinders. The grinder attachments are made of cast aluminum and weigh only 0.45 lb. The guard has a dust port that is compatible with most commercial vacuum hoses. The dust guards can be used in a wide range of concrete and masonry applications, including concrete cutting, tile cutting, tuck pointing and cutting expansion joints.
