Demolition Robot: Compact Profile

The Brokk 70 demolition robot can use a full-size hydraulic breaker in a package that weighs only 1,235 lb. It is able to deliver almost twice as much hydraulic power as the earlier Brokk 60 II robot, in the same compact profile. The demolition arm is able to extend 10.5 ft vertically and 8.8 ft horizontally. The attached BHB 105 hydraulic breaker is able to deliver 117 ft-lb of impact energy, and the robot can also be equipped with concrete crushers, drum cutters or grapplers. Brokk; www.brokk.com

Light Tower: Digital Remote Controls

The MLTS light tower features LED arrays and has a maximum run time of 220 hours. The tower boasts a 1,000-hour service interval and is mounted on a compact, trailer-mounted platform, which allows for up to 19 units to be transported on a single flatbed truck. Digital controls, available in early 2020, will allow for remote operation of the light tower, including timed lighting intervals, dawn-to-dusk settings and individual lamp controls. Cut-off Saw: Battery-Powered

The M18 FUEL 9-in. cut-off saw is 50% lighter than comparable gas-powered saws and is able to cut through reinforced concrete, black pipe, rebar and brick. Because the saw is battery-powered, it can safely be used indoors. A rapid-stop brake can halt the blade in under three seconds, while an overload indicator light lets the user know when the saw is being pushed too hard. It comes with a diamond blade and an abrasive blade. Skid Steer Loader: Redesigned Cab

The 262D3 skid loader is part of Cat’s new D3 series, which features larger doors and wider spacing between joysticks for easier entry and exit. The loader has an operating weight of 8,296 lb and a rated operating capacity of 2,700 lb. It is powered by a Cat C3.3B DIT engine rated at 74 hp. It features Cat’s smart attachment system, which automatically recognizes attachments and adjusts engine and hydraulic performance to match the application. Caterpillar; www.cat.com
