Quick Connector System

Air-Mate 2000 is for workers who require respiratory protection in hazardous environments. It is NIOSH-approved for both entry into and escape from confined spaces. Models ME2503, ME3003, ME3503 and ME3703 have been added to the company's compact excavator product line. The three-ton units feature hydraulically dampened drive levers and pedals. They also incorporate an enhanced operator compartment that includes easy-to-read instrumentation and ergonomically designed levers and seating. TELESCOPIC JIB OPTION
Boom Crane Extension
A line of non-offsettable telescoping jibs for extended reach are now available as options for the manufacturer's crawler boom cranes. The jib option for model 30T, a 30-ton capacity crane, offers an additional 26 to 46 ft to the top of the boom's standard 92-ft tip height, bringing the maximum tip height to 160 ft. The two-section jib on model 40T, a 40-ton crane, can be extended by 30.5 to 55 ft to bring maximum tip height to 160 ft. ProTalk XLS, model TK-3130, is a two-way radio with a four-mile range. Equipped with a built-in VOX capability and vibration alert, the unit is user-programmable to provide two channels of voice communication from a choice of 242 channel combinations. The XLS is about 4.5 in. tall and weighs about 7 oz. It includes voice encryption, channel scanning and a backlit LCD display with numeric and icon read-out. Bomag BW145D-3 single-drum vibratory roller is equipped with new features to help deliver improved compaction force, gradeability and tractive effort on both granular and mixed soils. In high amplitude, the machine delivers 22,500 lb of centrifugal force, more than a 40% increase over the model it replaces. Vibratory frequency is up to 2,040 vibrations per minute, compared with 1,980 vpm on the previous model. A 71.7-hp Deutz air-cooled diesel engine offers 18.1% more hp than its predecessor. 12-cu yd Aggregate Batcher
Company introduces a new series of one of the industry's largest mobile concrete batch plants. The first of the series, called the HD-12, features a 12-cu-yd aggregate batcher with four 20,000-lb load cells. It has a 1Ú4-in.-thick steel aggregate bin with a 3Ú8-in. bottom. The 67-cu-yd, 100-ton C.P.M.B. rated capacity bin has eight double clamshell-batching gates-one linked pair per compartment-a feature that enhances batching accuracy and control, the maker says.
