ABC Rocky Mountain Presents 2012 Excellence in Construction Awards
The Rocky Mountain Chapter of ABC honored exceptional efforts in merit construction while celebrating the entire construction industry during its 11th annual Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards held Oct. 12 in Westminster.
The Excellence in Construction program provides ABC-member general contractors and specialty contractors a forum to showcase their projects that are the premier representation of their work. The ABC Rocky Mountain Chapter’s EIC awards competition is patterned after ABC National’s EIC program. It is the first step to compete at the national level.
ABC Rocky Mountain received 19 entries for 2012. A panel of eight judges reviewed the award submissions.
Criteria included factors such as complexity, unusual challenges or problems overcome, innovative techniques or programs, value engineering, safety records and owner satisfaction. Any project completed before October 12 by an ABC member in good standing was eligible for the competition.
