Product Snapshot: Fall-Protection Harness and Horizontal Directional Drill
The DBI-SALA ExoFit STRATA Harness is a full-body safety harness designed to provide a greater range of motion to the user than earlier models. The harness redistributes the weight of the harness from the user�s shoulders to the hips. This LIFTech system can reduce weight on the shoulders by up to 85%, compared to traditional harnesses. Mesh padding on the back keeps the user cool, and new connectors under the legs provide easier adjustment. The EZ-Link adapter allows for fast attachment to safety lines.

Ditch Witch brought out its Tier4 Final-compliant horizontal directional drills at the International Construction Utility Equipment Expo in Louisville, Ky., on Sept. 29-Oct. 1. The Tier 4 Final engines are available on all new Ditch Witch HDDs, with the new JT60 and JT100 coming in 2016. The new drills also feature the SaverLok system, which ensures a tight connection between the drill pipe and drive system during operation.

The Leica Viva GS14 GNSS receiver now supports Verizon CDMA technology, in addition to all standard 2G-3G networks and UHF TX-RX radio signals. By handling all these services in one device, the Viva GS14 can serve as a single point of access for GNSS data on a jobsite. The receiver can switch between the different signal types as needed, and no external equipment is necessary for operation.
