After snags and a redesign, the team working on arresting significant future settlement of the 645-ft-tall condominium tower has declared the $100-million fix a success.

The team for the revised pile upgrade of the 645-ft-tall residential building expects to complete the work to stem settlement by the end of September.

Using a modified method, Shimmick’s Legacy Foundations restarted work on the troubled perimeter pile upgrade of the ailing Millennium Tower in San Francisco.

There was no measurable settlement during the Dec. 1-3 drilling for the second permanent pilot pile installed at the northwest corner of the troubled Millennium Tower in San Francisco, says Ronald O.
