Hanoi’s Ecopark Daesung International School brought together a global team in the midst of a pandemic to construct a modern educational center inspired by a European modernist tradition that is rooted in the city’s Old Quarter.

The Wurun Senior Campus folds around a street corner in Melbourne, Australia, a modern school set to equip its more than 650 students with 21st-century skills in an experimental learning space that is integrated with the local community and built environment.

To stay on schedule during the winter and meet strict specifications, the team temporarily enclosed this University of Albany building at two different stages.

The project provides research space for the National Institute on Aging. The design included single-story modular construction with open concept labs to reduce costs and maximize available space on the $33.7-million project.

Harvard’s Science and Engineering Complex was built to be the healthiest building on campus.

The two-story building targeting LEED Gold certification serves as a consolidated scientific research facility at one of the largest marine research centers in the country, according to the project team.
