Our 2011 Construction CPM Conference has been deemed a success by all who participated, and we are on our way to our second annual conference, January 21-25, 2012, again at the Swan & Dolphin Resort, Walt Disney World, Florida. Details of the program, an overview of the over 100 sessions in development, and abstracts of individual sessions may be found a www.ConstructionCPM.com.

We are appreciative of the sponsorship by major technical societies supporting study of CPM scheduling. PMI Scheduling Community of Practice (formerly known as College of Scheduling) will be conducting its PMI-SP exam, and the full PMI PMP exam, on Saturday January 21 at our event. PMI SCoP will also host two Town Halls and several other sessions and events.

AACE will be conducting its PSP exam, and the full CCE/CCC exam, on Wednesday January 25 at our event. AACE’s Construction Group will also host several sessions and events. Planning Planet will also be represented and host several sessions and events.

Oracle Primavera, Deltek Open Plan, and Microsoft Project, as well as a dozen or more other software providers will be highlighted by “how to use” tutorials (not sales presentations). One of the themes of our conference is to “Go home with ‘how to use’ skills on three or more software solutions”. Beyond CPM, sessions cover EVM and Cost, BIM 3D 4D 5D, Document Control, and Claims for Delay and Disruption culminating in our acclaimed Mock Trial Luncheon Theatre.

Conference events and entertainment are designed to provide relaxation and enjoyment while also presenting maximum networking opportunities. Attend our receptions, themed lunches and breaks, or sign up for our Dine with Five New Friends program where we pair you with other attendees with whom you will enjoy dinner.

We are still looking for several speakers to fill our curriculum, and have openings for additional software tutorials and project showcasing. Send inquiries to info@ConstructionCPM.com.
