Work included improvements to the kitchen, pharmacy, central sterile processing, conference center, medical imaging and cath labs, interventional prep and recovery, cardiac center, PACU, PICU, pediatrics med-surg, dialysis and four med-surg floors. McCarthy utilized laser scanning to model the existing facility utilities above the ceiling and incorporated into the BIM model where the new mechanical, electrical and plumbing were designed to have as little impact on the existing as possible.
