In the August 15 print issue, ENR Texas & Louisiana will include its annual Top Contractors ranking by both total regional revenue and by sector, featuring general contractors from across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas.

Early results show that revenues last year for the region’s contractors were up in most areas, especially for firms located in Salt Lake City, Boise and Denver.

Most areas of the Mountain West seem to be recovering well from the pandemic downturn, with many market sectors showing resilience, including multifamily, warehouses, manufacturing, industrial facilities and distribution and data centers. Industry leaders also express great optimism for the passage of the new infrastructure bill.

As the dust from a tumultuous 2020 settles and threatens to kick up again, ENR MidAtlantic’s Top Contractor survey reveals that the firms taking part in this year’s ranking ended up being no worse for wear from a revenue standpoint. 

The challenges of 2020 forced contractors to be nimble, and now regional firms are seeing signs of a promising remainder of 2021.
