Construction Safety Week, the now 10-year-old, weeklong training and educational program by employers, has incorporated new participatory elements centered on the theme “value every voice.” The program, which runs May 6-10 and features a national safety stand-down on May 8, includes a website inviting individuals to explain why and how they value every voice by posting on www.constructionsafetyweek.com/vote/. There were 5,143 votes cast on the website as of ENR press time.
