This renovation of the iconic Astir palace hotel, originally built in the 1960s, transformed it into a modern Four Seasons property. The project consists of two hotels, Arion and Nafsika, with 303 rooms and 58 luxury bungalows. The 75-acre development, which sits on the shoreline of the Aegean Sea, also includes restaurants, infinity pools, conference and event space, beaches and other amenities. The project team worked to preserve the historic elements of the hotel while upgrading the surrounding facilities.

Executed during a time of turbulence for Greece, this project’s foreign investment helped invigorate the local economy, create jobs and set a precedent for attracting additional investments into the country.

Safety seminars were provided to all members of the team and helped to deliver the project with no major incidents during the more than 2 million worker hours.
