Amazon Unveils First Rendering for Arlington, Va., HQ2 Site

Amazon released plans for its second headquarters at National Landing in Arlington, Va.’s Crystal City. Designed by ZGF Architects and developed by JBG Smith, HQ2’s first phase includes 2.1 million sq ft of ground-up construction to house 25,000 employees. Targeting LEED Gold, the two buildings on a 16-acre redevelopment site reportedly include 50,000 sq ft of shops, restaurants, day care and outdoor green terraces.
