MOTO is a mixed-use, boutique apartment building at the convergence of Denver’s Capitol Hill, Golden Triangle and Governor’s Park neighborhoods. The name MOTO refers to the “middle of town” and living life in motion. The area is known for its cultural, artistic and musical offerings and is home to many young and active residents. The project includes 64 units, a mixed-use lobby, a bike share program, two levels of covered parking and a pool deck. Since living space in Denver is becoming more compact, shared spaces helped to foster a sense of community in the building and the neighborhood. The developer selected two innovative retailers for the site—Proper Barber Shop, an old-time barber shop, and Black Eye Coffee/White Lies, a coffee shop by day that converts into a specialty bar at night.
