Bailey Architects will renovate the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Houston to meet LEED-silver standards. SpawMaxwell is the construction manager and Gamma Construction is the general contractor

Design features include a new entry structure and skylight as well as updated lobby, conference facility and office space. The work is slated for completion by December.

The renovation is designed to meetLEED-silver standards. The client is Statsbygg – Section of Foreign Properties, which represents the interests of the Royal Norwegian Consulate General. Houston-based SpawMaxwell is the construction manager and Houston-based Gamma Construction is the general contractor.

The Royal Norwegian Consulate General commissioned Houston-based Bailey Architects to revitalize the building it has occupied in Houston since 1981, which Bailey designed.
