Houston-based real estate company Cameron Management acted as engineer and contractor in the remodel and update of 2000 St. James Place in Houston, a building owned by the company, which resulted in a LEED-gold certification under the USGBC Existing Buildings Rating System.

The 12-story office building contains approximately 335,000 sq ft of rentable area. Originally constructed in 1978, the building recently went through $11.9 million in upgrades and capital improvements.

The Cameron Management team self-performed all documentation and work for 2000 St. James, at the time of certification the only commercial office building in Texas that holds the LEED-EB v2.0 gold rating.
