ACEC-Montana honored the following projects at the Montana Engineering Honors Banquet held in conjunction with the Joint Engineers Conference on November 2 in Helena.
Recipients of Honor Awards in their respective categories are eligible for the 2012 ACEC-National Engineering Excellence Awards competition.

In a tough economy, innovative design and bidding methods were used on the largest public works project ever undertaken by the city of Bozeman to build a state-of-the-art water reclamation facility to meet upcoming stringent water-quality requirements and poise the city for future growth.

The design team and Montana Dept. of Transportation met regularly with the public, and the outcome of the 19-year collaboration is a highly unique design that respects the splendor of the area, addresses local needs, increases capacity and improves safety on one of the most beautiful 45-mile stretches of the National Highway System.
