GE Johnson Construction recently celebrated a major safety milestone of 5 million man-hours worked without a day-away-from-work injury.

“This milestone reflects our culture of valuing our employees and ensuring that every member of our team returns home to their families each day unharmed,” said GE Johnson President and CEO James M. Johnson. “While we have received national recognition for our safety performance over the last several years, this achievement stands as one of the highest accolades we can ever give back to our employees.”

Michael Gifford, executive director of AGC of Colorado, said, “GE Johnson is a Blue Level (top level) member of the AGC of Colorado CHASE Partnership with OSHA. Only the top-tier safety performers in the construction industry qualify for this elite program. GE Johnson is also a perennial finalist in the National AGC of America Safety Awards program.”

GE Johnson has completed more than $6 billion in projects throughout the Rocky Mountain region. Most recently, the company completed the new $244-million St. Anthony Hospital campus project in Lakewood.
