Here’s an update on the latest projects added – and subtracted – to the tristate region’s Top Starts list. The top-25 projects on this list, which ranks the largest projects (by contract value) to have broken ground in the region last year, will be published in ENR New York’s March 12 issue.
ENR New York has extended the Top Design Firm deadline to March 5. This gives firms in the tristate region a bit more time to complete and send in their entry forms. The rankings will include consultant, architect, engineer and other design professional firms doing business in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.

It’s that time of year again when ENR New York gathers recommendations for our annual ranking of the tristate’s largest projects by dollar amount. The “Top Starts” ranking will appear in our March 12 issue but we’ve already begun to gather data, snoop around sites, ask a lot of questions, and
ENR New York congratulates Intercounty Constructors, a joint venture team of Granite Construction, Corman Construction and G.A. & F.C. Wagman, which submitted the winning entry in this year’s N.Y. Region Best Projects competition. The project, Intercounty Connector, Contract A in Montgomery County, MD, was one of 98 entries chosen by a panel of industry veterans from the region.
