Participants in ENR New York’s specialty contractors survey this year cover a wide range of specializations from electrical, HVAC and architectural glass contractors to hazardous materials remediation specialists. Like last year, the revenues of the top-50 contractors that responded to our annual survey also differ widely including one firm generating nearly one billion in regional revenue and another with several hundred thousand.
Work in the higher education as well as transportation and other public works sectors, in particular, kept many of these firms in the tristate region busy last year.
