ENR New York announced that Turner Construction is its Contractor of the Year. In 2010, while many of its competitors faltered, Turner stayed steady with a diverse portfolio of projects. Last year, work ramped up at the $2.5-billion Two World Trade Center project, the largest project to break ground in the region in 2010. The firm was also very active on major renovation jobs, including the start of the $676-million Madison Square Garden renovation and completion of the award-winning Julliard School renovation and expansion. At a time when there is little commercial work in the area, Turner started several significant corporate projects, including the $400-million Canon USA Corporate Headquarters.

As our Contractor of the Year, Turner Construction will be featured in the July issue of ENR New York—our annual Top Contractors issue.
