The East Quad Campus—recently renamed the Regis F. Groff Campus after the school teacher, politician, civil servant and second African-American elected to the Colorado State Senate—is a new Denver Public School that houses two charter schools: KIPP and STRIVE.
Built on the site of a former underused parking lot and trash compactor, the East Harlem Center for Living and Learning is part of an initiative begun by the city of New York and the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) to integrate new development within underused space on authority campuses.
The Robert F. Kennedy Charter High School has its first permanent structure thanks to the June 2013 to April 2015 construction of the $4.4-million multipurpose center.
