Arson caused a two-alarm fire that destroyed the wooden-framed 56-unit, $5.5-million apartment complex in the early stages of construction, the Fort Worth Fire Dept. ruled.

Massive fire destroyed the residential complex being built in the city's SouthPark neighborhood, leading to multiple rescues and two deaths.

A spokesperson for the Fort Worth Fire Dept. said the structure was in the early stages of construction. No injuries were reported.
