ENR MidAtlantic is excited to announce its Top Young Professionals for 2017. Formerly known as Top 20 Under 40, the awards program honors individuals who have built extraordinary industry portfolios in just a few short years. In addition, many donate significant amounts of time and expertise to serve their communities.
The Dec. 26 ENR MidAtlantic issue will include the annual rankings of the region’s Top Specialty Construction firms.
Based on 2015 revenue, the survey shows that the 18 participating firms in the survey collected a total of $2.4 billion in revenue. The MidAtlantic regions includes Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
The top 10 firms in the ENR MidAtlantic Top Contractor rankings nearly surpassed pre-recession levels in 2015, raising a combined $10.33 billion, up from $9.9 billion in 2014 and $9 billion in 2013. In 2008, the top 10 contractors collected a total of $10.7 billion.
The June 20 issue of ENR MidAtlantic will feature the annual ranking of Top Design Firms. Preliminary analysis shows continued revenue strength among architects and engineers in the MidAtlantic region.
The total value of the 25 contracts that make up this year’s ENR MidAtlantic Top Starts list—which includes projects that got underway in 2015—is down sharply, to $5.7 billion from $10.7 billion in last year’s ranking.
