The St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church now has a new nave, day chapel and church office designed to accommodate the parish’s current and future needs thanks to the largest project ever undertaken by a single parish within the Omaha Archdiocese.
Originally built in 1979 and renovated several times since, the three-story, 63,650-sq-ft structure serves as a modern not-for-profit regional production theatre with an expanded stage and full-scale rigging zone capable of hosting Broadway-scale productions.
Described by renowned architect Sir David Adjaye as a ”21st century prototype of a multi-purpose knowledge campus in the public realm,” the 55,000-sq-ft Winter Park Library and Events Center features multiple interactive areas, 120-seat performance and education space and grand ballroom that can seat 250 people at tables or 316 theater-style.
