The Bosch D-tech 120 Professional is a radar detector that is able to find ferrous and non-ferrous materials inside walls. In addition to locating electrical cables and other metal objects, the detector can find water-filled plastic pipes and wooden substructures. The tool features separate settings for drywall and concrete surfaces. It has a maximum detection depth of 4.72 in., which varies with the mode selected. The detector's display uses indicator arrows and a crosshair to help the user find the exact center of a detected object. Simplified controls consist only of a mode selection switch, on-off button and audible signal setting.
