Sideflex is a tire sidewall protection system for tires used on dump trucks. The system consists of durable polymer platelet flaps attached to a steel ring mounted to the wheel nuts. The platelets shield the entire tire sidewall from rock debris. Made of a special memory material, the Sideflex platelets can flex and deform upon impact and return to their original shape. The lightweight and low-profile system is intended for machines that are not able to use heavy-duty tire protection chains.

Introduced at Bauma 2013, the WOLFF 166B is the first crane from Germany-based WOLFFKRAN to have a hydraulic luffing system. The flat-top crane joins the 100B and 224B on WOLFF's luffing-crane line. While the standard 25-meter basic jib has a hoist drive, the jib can be extended up to 55 m in five-meter sections. The crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 12 metric tons. The cab features touch-screen controls that provide access to operational and diagnostic information. Overload protection controls and settings for all limiters can be accessed from the touch screen. Automatic wind-force compensation controls are also standard.

Since Swiss-based Liebherr acquired concrete pump maker Waitzinger in 2012, the company is now offering Waitzinger's concrete pump trucks under the Liebherr brand. The 41 XXT truck is highly compact, with a short wheelbase and, during travel, minimal boom overhang. Featuring a THP 14H high-performance pump unit, the truck has integrated outriggers for additional stability and support, preventing boom vibration and sway during pouring operations. Front outriggers can be used in a variety of positions depending on jobsite conditions.
