Concrete Pumping Giant Brundage-Bone Taps Fluor Exec as COO
Denver-based Brundage-Bone Concrete Pumping Inc., which says it is the largest U.S. concrete-pumping firm, has hired Gary Bernardez as chief operating officer. He is formerly senior vice president of global services for Fluor Corp., Irving, Texas, and also had been president of its AMECO integrated equipment unit. Brundage-Bone was acquired last August by an affiliate of Peninsula Pacific Strategic Partners LLC, a Los Angeles investment firm.
The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA), a Washington, D.C.-based trade group for more than 300 public sewerage agencies and related companies, has elevated Adam Krantz to CEO, effective on Aug. 1. He will succeed Ken Kirk, who is retiring. Krantz is currently managing director of government and public affairs, and joined NACWA in 2001.
