Arevia Power LLC plans to construct the Leo Solar power plant and generation tie-line. The 450-MW photovoltaic power plant, as well as a battery energy storage facility, will be located in a BLM-designated variance area in Mohave County, Ariz. The project involves development of a net-zero hydrogen production facility to yield 640 metric tons per day of hydrogen, as well as a 75-MW biomass power plant, carbon capture equipment, a supporting carbon sequestration pipeline and wells and supporting infrastructure for barge and train offloading and warehousing. Amtrak/National Railroad Passenger Corp. has selected Herzog Contracting Corp.. to design and construct a new heavy maintenance facility at Penn Coach Yard in Philadelphia. Herzog will team with TYLin as the lead designer.
