ARIZONA-NEVADA

Arevia Power LLC plans to construct the Leo Solar power plant and generation tie-line. The 450-MW photovoltaic power plant, as well as a battery energy storage facility, will be located in a BLM-designated variance area in Mohave County, Ariz. In addition it will include a 500-kV generation tie-line connecting to the Mohave Substation in Clark County, Nev. Construction is expected to start in May 2026 and be completed by November 2027. KANSAS

Freeman Health System plans to build the Freeman Health System Hospital in Pittsburg. The two-story, 170,000-sq-ft facility will offer a full array of services, including an emergency department, cardiac services, an intensive care unit, maternity, pediatrics, outpatient/inpatient surgery including robotic procedures as well as medical and radiation oncology. MAINE

Maine Maritime Academy is planning to renovate Curtis Hall, its primary student residential facility, in Castine. The scope of work includes upgrades of the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection and heating systems as well as the building envelope’s roof, windows and exterior. MISSISSIPPI

PraCon Global Investment Group LLC is planning to build Prado Lofts at Meadowbrook in Jackson. The four-story, 286,725-sq-ft building will contain 215 apartments, multiple clubhouses, a swimming pool with cabanas, study lounges and a walking trail. The project includes demolishing the former Meadowbrook Mart on the site. The project is being designed by Eley Barkley Dale Architects, and is valued at $50 million. OKLAHOMA

Notes Live is planning to build the Sunset at Broken Arrow Amphitheater in Broken Arrow. The 12,500-seat outdoor amphitheater will include luxury fire pits, suites and parking. WEST VIRGINIA

Fidelis New Energy is planning to construct the Mountaineer GigaSystem Hydrogen Facility in Point Pleasant. The project involves development of a net-zero hydrogen production facility to yield 640 metric tons per day of hydrogen, as well as a 75-MW biomass power plant, carbon capture equipment, a supporting carbon sequestration pipeline and wells and supporting infrastructure for barge and train offloading and warehousing. PENNSYLVANIA

Amtrak/National Railroad Passenger Corp. has selected Herzog Contracting Corp.. to design and construct a new heavy maintenance facility at Penn Coach Yard in Philadelphia. Herzog will team with TYLin as the lead designer. The project entails construction of a two-bay heavy maintenance facility with two adjacent service and cleaning tracks, one-bay maintenance and inspection facilities, and two tracks repurposed within the existing yard for service and cleaning tracks, as well as modifications to existing yard system tracks, electric traction systems and utility upgrades. SOUTH DAKOTA

Pkg Contracting, Inc. has started Phase 2 of an improvement project to the Water Reclamation Facility South Plant in Rapid City. The work entails installing two additional secondary clarifiers, replacing all existing pumps, replacing the existing process blowers with better turn-down capabilities which will allow a new aeration control system to be implemented. 6/11 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking bidders to construct the Port Monmouth Hurricane and Storm Damage Reduction System. The project scope is for the construction of a 1,521-ft-long floodwall, 1,040-ft-long levee, haul and dispose of 15,510 cu yd of excess/unsatisfactory material, 2,405 cu yd of borrow material, install two road closure gates, drive 119,300 ft of steel H-piles, and conduct 11 total static load tests for primary and secondary test piles.
