ARIZONA

The City of Mesa is planning to construct the Central Mesa Reuse Pipeline. The project entails building a 9.5-mile-long, 36- or 42-in.-dia pipeline to move millions of gallons of reclaimed wastewater daily from the Northwest Wastewater Treatment Plant at Thomas Road and Val Vista Drive for delivery to the Gila River Indian Community’s agricultural fields. DELAWARE

The Delaware River & Bay Authority is planning to construct the Delaware Memorial Bridge ship collision protection system in Wilmington. The project entails upgrading existing protections and building eight 80-ft-wide concrete caissons. The system has been designed by Modjeski & Masters Inc. and R.E. Pierson Construction Co. has been chosen as the general contractor. Construction is expected to begin in July 2023 and be completed by September 2025. The project is valued at $93 million. IOWA

Hubbell Homes LLC is planning to develop Woodmont, a residential subdivision of 489 single-family homes, on a 171-acre site at 4425 E. Douglas Ave. in Des Moines. MISSISSIPPI

PraCon Global Investment Group LLC is planning to build Prado Lofts at Meadowbrook in the North Fondren neighborhood in Jackson. The four-story, 286,725-sq-ft building will contain 215 apartments, a swimming pool, fitness center, two courtyards and a walking trail. It is being designed by Dale Partners Architects. OREGON

Portland Adventist Medical Center is planning a nursing tower expansion to its facility in Portland. The 50,000-sq-ft tower will allow for larger inpatient rooms without adding additional beds. It is being designed by Petersen Kolberg & Associates, and Andersen Construction Co. has been selected as the construction manager. The project is valued at between $25 million and $50 million. Igus Bearings Inc. is planning a 707,000-sq-ft redevelopment of its manufacturing and warehouse facility in East Providence. It is being designed by the Robinson Green Beretta Corp., and DF Pray Inc. has been chosen as the general contractor. Construction is expected to begin in August 2023. SOUTH DAKOTA

Ralco, the trū Shrimp Co., is planning to build the Madison Bay Harbor shrimp production aquaculture facility in Madison. The 9-acre facility will grow shrimp in a controlled habitat that recreates the natural ocean currents, in 36 tidal basins housing approximately 75 million shrimp. It has been designed by ISG. McCownGordon Construction has started building a new Valley Center Aquatic Facility and Recreational Complex. The project includes a new recreation center, new indoor pool, new playground equipment and a renovation to the existing pool. The designer is Schaefer Johnson Cox Frey Architecture. SOUTH CAROLINA

Juneau Construction has started renovating the Bryan Mall high-rise dorms at Clemson University. The three buildings—Byrnes, Lever and Manning halls—total 306,000 sq ft and contain 1,450 beds. The work includes repairing the building envelopes, improving accessibility, replacing the plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems, and abating hazardous materials. Approximately 210 of the beds are located in the interior of the building and will be converted into student lounge and programming space.
