Union Station Redevelopment Corp. and the Federal Railroad Administration are planning to create Burnham Place, a new neighborhood to be built above Union Station’s rail yard. The three million-sq-ft development will include residential, office, retail and hotel space, as well as parks and plazas. It will contain 1,300 residential units, 2.5 million sq ft of office space, 500 hotel rooms and parking. The FRA is planning to arrange adjacent air rights.
