Two construction and engineering companies, Hoffmann Construction and POWER Engineers, have reported hacks and data security breaches.
On Feb. 12, Hoffmann Construction reported it discovered in December that an unauthorized individual may have accessed information relating to its self-insured health plan. The breach occurred between July 31, 2020 and August 4, 2020 and included employee names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and benefits information.
