Georgia Augusta Cyberworks LLC is planning to redevelop 300,000 sq ft of the King Mill, a former textile factory in Augusta dating to the 1880s. Phase 1 includes 244 apartments, Phase 2 involves warehouse space, and Phase 3 entails retail space. The project includes shifting Goodrich Street to the west to create room for parking spaces in front of the main mill building. Indiana Fulcrum BioEnergy Inc. is planning to construct the Centerpoint Biofuels Plant in Gary. The plant will convert approximately 700,000 tons of municipal solid waste from the greater Chicago area annually into 33 million gallons of fuel. The project is valued at $600 million.
