Louisiana Tallgrass Energy LP and Drexel Hamilton Infrastructure Partners LP are planning to construct the Plaquemines Liquids Terminal, a crude-oil export terminal, on a 200-acre site on the Mississippi River in Plaquemines Parish. The terminal will be fed by a pipeline with the capacity to transport up to 800,000 barrels per day from Cushing, Okla., to Louisiana. The terminal and pipeline together are valued at $2.5 billion. Nevada Wood Rogers is planning to construct the Prado Ranch single family subdivision. Wisconsin The Wisconsin Center District has selected two firms, tvsdesign and Eppstein Uhen Architects, to design the expansion of the Wisconsin Convention Center in Milwaukee. The project will expand the center by 350,000 to 400,000 sq ft. A joint venture of Gilbane and CD Smith has been chosen as the construction manager-at-risk. The project is valued at $300 million. Located on the southwest side of Lake Okeechobee between HHD culvert structure S-279 and Moore Haven, the work includes constructing 5.2 miles of cutoff walls in Reach 2 (Segments 6 and 7) of the dike embankment from Structure S-279 to Moore Haven. Georgia McShane Construction Co. has begun building The Parker, an apartment complex, on a 40-acre site in Dawsonville. Texas FJW Construction Co. has started building the Woods Lofts apartment complex in Shenandoah. Ohio 2/26 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking bidders to construct a new fire/crash rescue station at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton. The 14,145-sq-ft building will contain an apparatus room with two adjacent bays, each composed of two consecutive bays for medium-class vehicles, and for parking a total of four medium vehicles. California 4/1 The Los Angeles Country Metropolitan Transit Authority is seeking bids for the Sepulveda Pass Transit Corridor/Tunnel PPP. The project will provide a rapid transit option to improve traffic flow between the Westside and the San Fernando Valley through Sepulveda Pass, along the I-405 freeway corridor. Specific transit technology and routing will be subject to approved plans developed in cooperation with local jurisdictions and affected communities.
