The project scope includes acquisition and renovation of the 288,000-sq-ft former Nucor Fastener building; purchase and erection of structural steel; and purchase and installation of storage tanks and laminating, pressing and finishing equipment. Illinois INEOS Styrolution America LLC and Agilyx Corp. are planning to construct a styrene monomer plant at or near INEOS’ plant in Channahon. The project scope includes construction or renovation of building space, purchase and erection of structural steel, and purchase and installation of polystyrene-materials receiving equipment and pyrolysis reactors. The plant will have the capacity to process up to 100 metric tons per day of post-consumer polystyrene into styrene monomers for use in manufacturing new PS products. Texas EPIC Midstream Holdings LP is planning to construct a second natural gas liquids fractionation plant in Robs­town. The project scope includes construction of equipment foundations and installation of a fractionation tower, heat exchangers and flow-control equipment. The plant will have the capacity to process 110,000 barrels of natural gas liquids per day. Optimized Process Designs, LLC has been selected to provide EPC services for the project.
