Alaska The Native Village of Eyak is planning to construct the Cordova Shepard Point Oil-Spill Response Facility. Indiana RTM Ventures, a joint venture of Cross Street Partners, Greenstreet Ltd. and Biggs Development, is planning to develop the former General Electric campus in Fort Wayne into Electric Works, a multi­use development. The 31-acre site includes 18 buildings and more than 1.2 million sq ft of space, where GE in 1911 began manufacturing motors, generators and transformers. The final business units there, a motor testing lab and an executive center, closed in January 2015. It will be leased to NN Inc.’s Power Solutions group, which manufactures a range of high-precision metal and plastic components and finished products for the aerospace and defense markets. Nevada The Naval Facilities Engineering Command has awarded Straub Construction a $16.8-million firm-fixed-price contract to construct an air wing training facility at Naval Air Station, Fallon.
